Chiara Scardozzi is a PhD in Ethno-Antropological Disciplines at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a lecturer at various Italian universities.
Since 2009 he has been working between Italy and Latin America where he develops his research activity, mainly concerning the processes of coexistence and the territorial claims of indigenous peoples and Creoles.
In 2014 she received the “Premio Francesca Cappelletto” (SIAA and University of Verona) for the best thesis in the field of anthropology applied to public space.
In 2015, thanks to a scholarship, he graduated from the Scuola Romana di Fotografia e Cinema, where he attended the Master in “Reportage and personal creative research”.
She uses photography as an additional tool for investigation, interpretation and representation of reality, looking for points of contact between ethnography and visual research.
